1. Calculation of points:

a) ALES score has to be quantitative type

b) GRE score has to be converted to ALES using this.

c) Your level of success in physics and related core courses in BS program will be taken into account.

d) Total Points = ALES (50%) + CGPA (25%) + WRITTEN EXAM (25%)

e) Your calculated points don't guarantee your acceptance. Your application will be evaluated against all the listed criteria."

b) Two reference letters are required (including graduates of METU Physics Department, one of the letters is expected to be given by the advisor of the graduation project).

d) To apply Ph.D., both undergraduate and graduate transcripts are required.
