ANNOTATIONS 1. All applicants should present an ALES/GRE result. 2. ALES and GRE Quantitative Scores will be assessed. 3. All applicants should present a valid and acceptable English proficency score. Acceptable exams, points and equivalency charts are announced by Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences webpage. 4. Two refernce letters are required. 5. Letter of intention is required (included in the online form). 6. The candidates are pre-evaluated based on the order obtained by the following calculation method. Number of candidates who may enter the written and/or oral scientific exam are selected from the ordered list based on the number of students that can be accepted by the Program academic staff. 7. MSc Applicants: 40% ALES/GRE (or an equivalent acceptable exam) + 40% CGPA (BSc) + 20% English Proficiency Exam score. 8. PhD Applicants: 40% ALES/GRE (or an equivalent acceptable exam) + 40% CGPA (Average of BSc and MSc) + 20% English Proficiency Exam score. 9. Applicants who do not attend the written and/or oral exam are refused. 10. After the oral or written examination, the final decision will be given according to the evaluation score explained below and the number of students that can be accepted by the Program academic staff. 11. MSc Applicants: 25% BSc CGPA + 25% ALES/GRE (or an equivalent acceptable exam) + 10% English Proficiency Exam score + 40% Scientific Exam Score 12. PhD Applicants: 15% BSc CGPA + 20% MSc CGPA + 20% ALES/GRE (or an equivalent acceptable exam) + 5% English Proficiency Exam score + 40% Scientific Exam Score |
