DEGREE METU EPE ALES B.S. CGPA M.S. CGPA ANNOTATIONS

 

ANNOTATIONS

1.  Calculation of points:

 a) ALES score has to be quantitative type

 b) GRE score has to be converted to ALES using this.

 c) Grades of core courses in Physics BS program will be taken into account.

 d) Total Points = ALES (50%) + CGPA (25%) + WRITTEN EXAM (25%)

 e) Your calculated points don't guarantee your acceptance. Your application will be evaluated against all the listed criteria.
2. Letters:

 a) Official online reference letter form of the graduate school.

 b) Two reference letters, one of which preferably written by the advisor of the graduation project. (Graduates of METU Physics are also required to provide 2 letters.)

 d) A letter of intent is required (use online form).
3.  Assessment:

 a) Take a written exam given by the department. (Your application will not be considered if you fail to take the exam without a valid excuse (such as a medical report))

6.  Assessment:

 a) Take a written exam given by the department. (Your application will not be considered if you fail to take the exam without a valid excuse (such as a medical report))

 b) You will be interviewed by the department.

 c) Non-METU Physics graduates have to submit a copy of their MS thesis and all publications in electronic format.

 d) To apply Ph.D., both undergraduate and graduate transcripts are required.
